Finding Nemo and all of his little friends

Saturday - After indulging in a breakfast buffet, Shari, David (my awesome little bro) and I headed out to the beach to get on the wooden boat that took us out a ways to the coral reefs. Unfortunately the coral was ravaged by El Nino, but there were still a ton of fish. We snorkled for an hour. Shari was wounded in the line of duty (they didn't have enough flippers and her feet got the worst end of the deal after a little arguement with the coral). I found a shell that looks like a mini sun on the inside and some curious fish tried to nibble it and my fingers. The return journey was not so nice on Shari's vestibular sensibilities (aka. her upchuck reflexes - okay not exactly you who are medically minded but you get the idea). We washed off in the pool.

Iron Will (an uplifting Disney film) was on so we watched that before lunch. After lunch, Shari and I took advantage of the free internet access. We then got coffee milkshakes by the pool. We were joined by my wonderful mother. We had girl talk for awhile. The afternoon was spent at a lovely, leisurely pace of doing as we pleased. Another awesome sunset over the beach (the sun was a huge, incandescent pink sphere). Over dinner we were graced with traditional Balinese dancing. (Shari would like to note that we had wonderful fruit for dessert...her favorite was bananas with strawberry ice cream..."delectable").
